Sport Rehabilitator & Pilates Instructor


Rachel qualified from the University of Salford in 2014 with a degree in BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation. Her skills include MSK injury assessment and diagnosis as well as sports massage, acupuncture, electrotherapy, manual therapy, muscle energy techniques and exercise rehabilitation programmes.


Rachel is also qualified to teach APPI Pilates Mat Work Level 1-3,antenatal, postnatal, pilates for Scoliosis and has been teaching for 3 years on a one to one basis as well as small classes.


During her degree she gained sporting experience working with Sale Sharks RUFC, Tonga RUFC, Macclesfield RUFC, Liverpool triathlon, Bupa Great Manchester run and Greater Manchester Marathon. She also gained clinical experience working at Pennygate Medical Centre assessing and treating clients with MSK issues who were referred from the GP, as well as the University of Salford Sports Injury clinic.


Over the last three years, Rachel has worked a full season at Wilmslow RUFC providing hands on treatment and return to sport rehabilitation plans, as well as working on the pitch side during match days. During this time she also worked at a Sports Injury & Pilates Clinic working with a variety of clientele including antenatal, postnatal and the general public.


Rachel has a background in gymnastics, stunt cheerleading and Latin American dancing reaching a National and World level.  She understands the importance of a strong, healthy body at any age and she’s passionate about helping others to achieve this too.


She is also currently studying for her Physiotherapy degree to broaden her skills and clientele over the coming years.
