I’ve found Ambulant Physio to be a professional pleasurable experience. Martha has been extremely accurate of my pain control and the staff have always been polite, friendly, and happy to answer all my queries. On the whole – a professional practice, who understood my needs and went out of their way to help me as much as possible.
I was referred to Ambulant through my workplace, I chose them because of the treatment options that were available to help my shoulder pain. They were really accommodating & could fit my appointments in around my working pattern. The staff are friendly & after my 4 recommend sessions I felt much better. Attending Ambulant Physiotherapy is a pleasure as a patient/client. The clinic is a highly professional set-up which patients reap the rewards from due to the excellent skills each of the eleven physiotherapists and sports therapists have to offer. I would have no problem in recommending anyone to attend Ambulant Physiotherapy as they are a brilliant clinic with very good prices, professionalism and most of all, the staff are more your friends than somebody treating you!
I first used Ambulant 3 years ago for back pain which Anna Maria sorted in one session. I have recently needed regular appointments with Martha to treat pain from chronic sciatica whilst waiting for hospital treatment. She has helped me immensely, using massage, acupuncture and traction to relieve pain and muscle spasms, and given me an exercise plan to follow. I’ve received excellent care all round & feel the staff go the extra mile to help. The staff are really friendly and professional & I can’t thank them enough.
I work as a locum Biomedical Scientist, which involves both a lot of driving, and computer work. As such, I suffer from tension in my shoulder area which causes tension headaches. Lee Lawrensonhas worked on this area to release tension and bring much needed relief. He manages always to combine a professional working manner with good interpersonal skills and I always feel at ease and looked after by him. I would joyfully recommend Lee to people, and very often do.
I have been a customer for many years and would thoroughly recommend this service. I suffer with a number of disabilities, which Martha treats for me. I come for a regular deep tissue massage and acupuncture which really helps. I am often given free advice and exercise plans to help me control my disabilities.
This service, in my opinion, is so good that I have recommended that friends/family see a physio here too. Well done to Martha who’s obviously a very savvy business woman!!
I wish to recommend Genna Holt as an outstanding practitioner of neuro-physiotherapy.
During August of 2011, at the age of 82, I underwent a major spinal operation in the face of a life-threatening cancer; I was left wheelchair bound, in a very poor state of health, and my future prospects were not good. I was fortunate to be blessed with a very loving and supportive wife who devoted her every waking hour to adding my recovery.
It was soon determined that my recovery would only progress with the aid if a neurophysiotherapist, and so, with effect from 28th November 2011, just a few short weeks after my release from hospital, Genna Holt was recommended by a colleague. Our weekly neurophysiotherapy sessions began, lasting for a period of almost a year, and my progress was nothing short of miraculous.
Throughout this period I always found Genna to be a kind, caring and dedicated professional. With much patience and hard work we managed to turn a very bad situation around; after several months and many exercises I was first able to weight bear, and then started to take a few steps. Some time later, I progressed to walking with a Zimmer frame, then on to a three wheeled walker, and finally I was able to walk with the aid of a walking stick.
Genna’s efforts have made such a huge difference to my life. I cannot thank her enough for the role she has played in aiding my recovery and giving me the ability to walk once more. This has been a great triumph and people are truly amazed when they see me walking; my confidence has been restored, and life is good once again – not bad for eighty four years young.

First time here today for a cortisone injection . Excellent service. The physio rang me to advise on shoulder problem but there was no pressure from him to have any further treatment. he said it was my arm, only I could make the decision. Decided to have the injection, Stephen went through everything again to make sure I knew what was involved. Would highly recommend.
This is the third time I have been to Ambulant Physiotherapy Ltd for acupuncture and massage by Martha Richardson. It is truly a remarkable, relaxing treatment and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
